Copyright and DMCA
GT+ is operated by 9D Industries LLC, a Nevada limited liability company (Nevada business ID NV20260007554). We respect copyright, and we expect members to post only what they own or have permission to post.
GT+ accounts are for adults. You do not need an account to send a copyright notice.
This page explains how to tell us that something on GT+ infringes your copyright, and what happens next. It follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). It is not legal advice.
1. Where to send a notice
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:
- Registration: DMCA-1083625
- Service provider: 9D Industries LLC
- Agent: Copyright Agent
- Address: 3400 Paradise Rd #88, Las Vegas, NV 89169
- Phone: (702) 985-9600
- Email: legal@9dindustries.com
9D Industries LLC (Nevada business ID NV20260007554) operates GT+ at gt-plus.app.
Our agent is designated with the U.S. Copyright Office (DMCA designated agent registration DMCA-1083625, 9D Industries LLC; names on file include GT+, GT Plus and 9dindustries.com).
Email is fastest. Put "Copyright notice" or "Counter-notice" in the subject line. The agent handles copyright only. A trademark or privacy concern, or a record about you, goes to legal@9dindustries.com. Anything else, including harassment, goes to the contact in section 7.
2. What a notice must include
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed or, if one notice covers several works, a representative list of them.
- The material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it on GT+, such as the address of the page it is on and the name of the account that posted it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and, if you have one, email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use you are complaining about is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
If a notice leaves something out but still tells us the work, where the material is and how to reach you, we will contact you about what is missing. A notice we cannot act on yet is not ignored.
3. What happens after a notice
When we receive a notice that includes all of this, we promptly remove the material or disable access to it. We tell the member who posted it, and we may send them a copy of the notice, including your name and contact details, so they can answer it. We keep a record of the notice and of what we did.
4. Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe that happened because of a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or a misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which 9D Industries LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We send a copy of a complete counter-notice, with your name, address and telephone number, to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person tells our agent that they have filed a court action to keep the material down, we restore it no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.
A counter-notice is a legal statement. If you are unsure, talk to a lawyer before you send one.
5. False notices
Do not send a notice or a counter-notice you know to be false. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages.
6. Repeat infringers
We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyright.
- We keep a record, for each account, of the copyright notices we act on.
- We may warn, restrict, suspend or close the account of a member who repeatedly infringes. Deliberate or serious infringement can lead to closing an account at once.
- A notice that is withdrawn, or material restored after a counter-notice, counts in the member's favour.
- There is no fixed number of strikes. We look at the record as a whole, the same way for every member.
